Join us on June 25th (7–9pm) or June 28th (2–4pm) for a beginner-friendly still life oil pastel workshop with local artist Grace Davies.
Known for her atmospheric paintings of local pub scenes, Grace's work is currently featured in the Here and There exhibition at the Artist’s Cup now. In these relaxed workshops, she'll guide you through creating vibrant still life drawings using oil pastels, exploring colour, composition, texture and mark-making.
Each session takes inspiration from a carefully curated tabletop scene that is quintessential of the Artist’s Cup:

June 28th | 2–4pm
Matcha, coffee and pastries still life
You'll learn how to simplify shapes, capture light and atmosphere, and build confidence with oil pastel techniques in a supportive and welcoming environment. We welcome creativity and exploration of concepts and composition.
