Welcome to OMENS - a seasonal turning of the sun, moon and cards.

Inspired by tarot, autumn equinox, and the rich grounding energy of October - OMENS leans into natural tones, modern folklore and the magic of seasonal transitions. This exhibition highlights an exceptional lineup of local and emerging artists who capture the magic of transition, other-wordliness and celebration.

Step into the world of rich textures, reflective storytelling and abstract magic.

We understand that visiting an art gallery isn’t everyone’s favourite experience. It can be intimidating and easy to feel out of place if you don’t feel like an expert.

We proudly don’t follow traditional gallery aesthetics. We play music, serve coffee, pour wine and talk about art in whatever way feels like you.

We’re the gallery you pop into on your commute. Where you gather with friends in the morning after parkrun for coffee. Or maybe, a weekend visit where you stay for wine and cheese.

Whatever the occasion, the Artist’s Cup welcomes you.

We’ve curated the perfect evening to kick off Halloween weekend in celebration of our Omens exhibition - inspired by the cards, moon and wine.

Join us at the Artist’s Cup, alongside hosts Melissa (Vino Cosmo) and Giorgia (Ritualised Softness). This is one you do not want to miss.

The night will take on two parts.

1) Biological wine tasting and moon ritual. Vino Cosmo will guide you through an introduction to 3 biodynamic wines, followed by an astrological moon reading - and how that frames what you’re drinking.

2) Tarot reading and card collage. After drawing your Tarot card, Giorgia will lead a creative collage workshop. You’ll utilise mixed media to create an intuitive abstract collage that represents the interpretation of your card and leave with a beautiful piece of art for your home.

Details:

  • Arrival is encouraged at 6:45pm for a 7pm start (22 Battersea Rise, SW111EE)

  • Wine tasting (3 wines)

  • All materials for tarot card collage session and take home your own tarot card you are interpreting.

  • 2 guided sessions with Vino Cosmo and Ritualised Softness.

  • Discounted wines on the night.

Please note when booking your ticket that seating will be assigned so that you can sit with your fellow attendees.
