We spend our lives searching for treasure, often forgetting that the most precious things are the ones we simply stumble into and choose to hold close. This exhibition is a celebration of that quiet appreciation—a visual archive of the moments, objects, people, and fleeting times that anchor us, reminding us to cherish the everyday things that shape our lives.

We understand that visiting an art gallery isn’t everyone’s favourite experience. It can be intimidating and easy to feel out of place if you don’t feel like an expert.
We proudly don’t follow traditional gallery aesthetics. We play music, serve coffee, pour wine and talk about art in whatever way feels like you.
We’re the gallery you pop into on your commute. Where you gather with friends in the morning after parkrun for coffee. Or maybe, a weekend visit where you stay for wine and cheese.
Whatever the occasion, the Artist’s Cup welcomes you.

Love and Lobster: Watercolour & Gold Leaf Workshop
Discover the fluid beauty of marine life and add a brilliant metallic shine to your artwork. Led by skilled illustrator and educator Alice Cleary, this intimate, two-hour masterclass will teach you how to layer delicate watercolour techniques with the striking elegance of gold leaf.
Whether you've never picked up a brush or you're a seasoned creative, this small-group workshop is designed to expand your skills and leave you with a stunning, finished original piece celebrating the beauty and diversity of sea creatures.

Join artist Sophie Hannah for a two-hour workshop celebrating body positivity and the body that carries you through life. This workshop is a completely judgment-free zone designed to let you explore your creativity with no pressure and no previous experience needed.
You will be guided through line drawing, painting, and gold leaf techniques to create your unique piece. Bring a photo of yourself in swimwear, or select from our available reference images. Tracing is completely welcome!
The Details:
Dates: Wednesday 22nd July (7pm – 9pm) or Thursday 23rd July (7pm – 9pm)
Price: £50 per person (Includes all materials, a welcome drink, and a free Sophie Hannah print. Tickets are non-refundable.)
What do I need to bring?: A photo of yourself in a swim suit or you are welcome to use reference images provided. Only bring an image of yourself if you are comfortable to do so and want to paint your own figure.
Format: Relaxed evening workshop. Open to everyone.
